BSF arrests Bangladeshi, BDR rounds up Indian

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday evening abducted a Bangladeshi from Hudapara border point in Damurhuda upazila in Chuadanga district. Soon after the incident, Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) members also caught an Indian national from the same border point. According to a source in BDR 35 Rifles Battalion, a BSF team from Gongra camp in Nadia district of West Bengal picked up one Bangladeshi, identified as Babul Akter, 42, from main pillar no-95 of the border point at about 6:30 pm. Later, a BDR team from Hudapara outpost caught Mukti Ghosh, 36, of Chillamara in Nadia district. According to BDR, they nabbed the Indian when he was trying to enter Bangladesh territory through Hudapara border area without any legal document. BDR sent a letter to BSF protesting abduction of the Bangladeshi. They also informed the BSF about arrest of an Indian and asked for a flag meeting. BSF, in reply, agreed to hold a flag meeting in the evening, BDR sources said.
