We are shocked and feeling very sad. The people of Haiti were struck by a deadly earthquake. Hundreds of thousands are feared dead and many more injured. It is a disaster of such magnitude that one has to gasp with horror.
Among the natural calamities, earthquakes are the deadliest, because the damage is completely unpredictable.
Living beings are entirely helpless and insignificant to its furious intervention.
