Indian HC visits Tangail to see voter listing
Indian High Commissioner (HC) in Bangladesh Pinak Ranjan Chakroborty yesterday visited Pathrail Bahumukhi High School in Delduar upazila to see the progress of work on voter listing and National Identity (ID) Card with photograph.
After the visit, the Indian envoy expressed his satisfaction.
Earlier, he visited the voter registration central control room at Ashekpur in the town. Joint forces commander here Lt Col Mahbub Sarwar briefed him about their activities at the centre.
Among others, Indian High Commission first secretary Sanjib Singam, District Election Commissioner Alimuzzaman, and Tangail Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Motiul Islam accompanied the Indian envoy during the visit.
