AL leader held for 'murder'
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an Awami League (AL) leader at a tea stall at Sadipur village in Daulatpur upazila on Monday night.
Aktaeuzzaman, publicity secretary of Daulatpur upazila AL, was handed over to police on the night.
Police yesterday produced him before a judicial magistrate's court that sent the AL leader to jail.
He is accused in several murder cases, Daulatpur police said.
