Corruption
I am a general citizen of Bangladesh now staying in Sweden for my research work. I want to draw your attention to corruption in Bangladesh. I guess it's impossible to eliminate corruption, since our government policy is to force people to be corrupt! But please don't get me wrong! May be it feels strange to you as the government is always against corruption.
I propose some ways of solving this problem:
1. The government should set the salary scale based on current market (at least for two people).
2. To stop monopoly business, the government should import stuffs directly and should have some sale centres where all the goods are to be sold at a fair price.
3. The government should announce a deadline including some facilities for the businessman to import different commodities.
4. If the businessmen don't invest money for certain periods of time, they should not be allowed to do any business for a certain period (A kind of penalty).
5. The government should frame the import and export policy based on supply and demand.
Since I am not an expert economist, my assumption can be wrong but I believe everyone hates corruption. So it is the government which can help people remain honest.
