'No vote'

Kindly allow me to ventilate my views on the above subject. It is an excellent idea on the part of the Election Commission to make provision for 'No vote' in the ballot paper. If a voter does not find anybody of his choice to vote for, he has every right to express his views. But a recent press report says that some political parties are opposing this provision to serve their own parochial interests. But general public will be very happy to have such a provision. I therefore urge the Election Commission not to yield to the pressure of vested interest groups and retain the provision of 'No Vote' in the ballot paper.
