Principal, 7 teachers get death threat
Eight Khagrachhari Government College teachers including principal of the college yesterday got death threats from unidentified criminals in name of Pahari Chatra Parishad (PCP), police said.
They lodged a general diary (GD) with Khagrachhari Sadar police station, saying unidentified criminals in name of Pahari Chatra Parishad (PCP), sent them letters threatening with death and putting some demands which include dropping names of PCP members from the investigation report.
When contacted, Principal Dewan admitted the fact saying they have informed higher authorities and local administration seeking security of life.
When contacted, a leader of the college PCP unit, seeking anonymity, said none of his activists are involved in the incident. It might be written by those who were involved in the clash on the college campus on November 24, he said.
