President's Parade held at BMA
The passing out ceremony of 100 cadets was held at the Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA) at Bhatiary in Chittagong yesterday.
Of them, 84 cadets, including 17 female cadets, were from 62nd BMA long course and 16 cadets, including one female cadet, were from 33rd BMA Special Course.
The President's Parade was held at the academy on the occasion, said an ISPR release.
Chief of Army Staff General Abdul Mubeen reviewed the parade and took salute as the chief guest.
He also distributed awards among the cadets who demonstrated outstanding performance during the training.
Addressing the function, the army chief urged the cadets to work with honesty and efficiently to uphold the image of the army and for the interest of the nation.
Company Senior Under Officer Imran Khan was awarded the 'Sword of Honour'. He also received the 'Chief of Army Staffs (CAS) Gold Medal' for his outstanding performance in military subjects.
