Tk 76.80 crore Buet budget approved
The Syndicate of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) approved Tk 76.80 crore budget for the fiscal year 2010-11 on June 23, says a press release.
The syndicate also approved Tk 63.37 crore revised budget for the fiscal 2009-10 at the meeting.
Of the total amount, Tk 71.35 crore will be allocated from the University Grants Commission.
Tk 44.95 crore will be spent for salaries of teachers, officials and employees while Tk 12 crore will be spent for pension. Tk 9.15 crore has been allocated under miscellaneous head while Tk 7 crore has been allocated for the education related fields.
No student fees have been increased in the proposed budget for the fiscal 2010-11.
