Korean killed in Bogra road crash

One Korean citizen was killed and three other Koreans were injured in a road accident on Bogra-Rangpur highway in Digharkandi area early yesterday. The deceased was identified as Choe Yong Gig, 45, a technical assistant of Maddhypara Hard Rock Project in Dinajpur. Sub-inspector Obaidur Rahman of Bogra Sadar police station said the accident occurred when a passenger bus collided head-on with a jeep carrying four Korean nationals from Dinajpur Hard Rock project to Dhaka, leaving them injured critically. Of them, Choe Yong Gig succumbed to his injuries on the way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical Collage Hospital in Bogra. Three others -- Risu Kawng, Won jong Bong and Ree Tang Sock are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
