Appeal for help
Nasir Uddin Sujan, a student of Govt Bhawal Badre Alam College, so-ught financial help from the well-off section of the society for his treatment as he has been suffering from Perthes disease for one and a half years.
Sujan's Treatment Fund committee sought the help at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters' Unity yesterday.
Sujan is now undergoing treatment under the supervision of Dr Md Mustafizur Rahman, professor (retd) of the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation.
Physicians have advised him an immediate surgery abroad. But it is impossible for his family to afford the treatment cost of Tk 15 lakh.
It appealed to generous people and organisations to extend a helping hand to save his life.
