Girl killed in road accident

A girl was killed in a road accident in Gopalganj yesterday. Deceased Lamia Khanam, 7, was a playgroup student and daughter of Tota Mia of Bandal village under Kotalipara upazila of the district. Locals said a Nasimon, locally made vehicle, ran over the child at around 10:00am while she was crossing the road in front of her school on Kotalipara-Paysherhat road.
