Father, son murdered over land dispute
Police recovered bodies of a father and his son on Thursday at Chirirbandar upazila of Dinajpur.
The deceased were identified as Md. Rokunuzzaman, 60, son of late Shamser Ali, and Md. Moktarul Islam, 25, son of Md. Rokunuzzaman of Gabindapur village of the district.
Police said the bodies were recovered from two separate places of the upazila. The body of Rokunuzzaman was recovered from Haranandapur village on Thursday evening, while Moktarul's body was recovered on Friday morning three kilometres away from their residence.
Police sent the bodies to Dinajpur Medical College for autopsy, and said the deceased were murdered due to a land dispute.
