Pop guru and freedom fighter Azam Khan

Pop guru and freedom fighter Azam Khan will be taken to Singapore tomorrow (Tuesday) for better treatment as he is suffering from cancer of oral cavity. Azam Khan will be admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital there, said Ershadul Haque Tinku, close aide of Azam Khan. A press release said yesterday that local doctors suggested taking him for better treatment to Singapore to stop the quick spread of the little tumour inside the mouth. The doctors also suggested chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy and PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scan for Azam Khan's quick recovery, the press note said. His son Hridoy Khan will accompany him to Singapore, Tinku said.
