JU new system to evaluate teachers by students
The Business Studies Faculty of Jahangirnagar University (JU) has introduced a system of evaluating class performance of teachers by the students, says a press release.
Dean of the Business Studies Faculty Prof Abdul Bayes, introduced the new system to the faculty and handed over the evaluation paper of teachers to the JU Vice Chancellor Prof Sharif Enamul Kabir on Thursday.
Prof Bayes said JU is the first to take such an initiative among the public universities of the country.
Prof Kabir said it is surely an outstanding initiative. This system is being followed in the advanced countries.
He said the system would help increase duty and responsibility of teachers towards students.
