One stabbed to death in city

Unidentified miscreants stabbed a man aged about 50 years to death and dumped the body at Farmgate area on Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue. The identity of the deceased could not be known. Tejgaon police recovered the body at around 3:00am yesterday and sent the body to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy. Morgue sources said the body had stab marks on its chest. Tejgaon police said acting on a tip-off they recovered the body. Police assume the deceased was a drug addict. The body is lying in the morgue as nobody claimed it.
