Woman mugged Tk 5 lakh

Armed muggers snatched Tk 5 lakh from a woman at city's Dhanmondi area yesterday. Nurjahan Begum's car was intercepted by armed mugger on two motor bikes in front of a school at Dhanmondi area at 12:30pm while she was returning after withdrawing the money from Dhanmondi branch of Eastern Bank Ltd. The muggers took the bag containing the money at gunpoint and made off.
