Achieving knowledge deeply related with Buddha philosophy

Industries Minister Dilip Barua yesterday said achieving knowledge is deeply related with Buddha philosophy. He advised all Buddhists to be united in community interest shunning the path of personal gains. Dilip Barua made the appeal at a function arranged on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. Dhaka University (DU) Buddha Chhatra Sangsad organised the function at TSC auditorium on the campus. DU Pro-vice Chancellor Prof Dr Harun-or-Rashid inaugurated the programme with Sangsad President Pankaj Barua in the chair. Sanghanayek S Dharmapal Mohathero, Petrobangla Chairman Prof Dr Mohammed Hossain Mansur, DU Senate Member Subhas Singh Roy, Jagannath Hall Provost Prof Dr Ajoy Kumar Das, Barrister Biplob Barua, Swapan Barua Chowdhury and Dr Biman Chandra Barua also spoke at the function.
