According to CNN, the number of unemployed in July was 130,000, yet the USA is inviting and accepting immigrants from all over the world. What does this mean? Whereas it is unable to absorb its unemployed people, yet it is inviting immigrants from abroad. America is cashing in on the resources of foreign countries. Each intending would be immigrant has to deposit an handsome amount of non-refundable money as processing fees whether the case is approved or not. In Houston, I have come across widespread unemployment. I have seen indigenous people at major road junctions seeking financial assistance in other words begging from the commuters in broad daylight and even late at night. The situation is so grave that once I have seen a wheel-chair bound man begging in the rain. When I inquired, I was told that they were bums, I am not sure what it means, but I had to contend myself with the answer. I am not trying to scare the would be immigrants, I have just described what I have seen. Well there are some employment opportunities that I have come across these are warehouse labourers, barbers, restaurant workers and janitors. Those interested in these jobs, may wish to migrate to the United States with the hope of a better life. Despite President Obama's best intention and efforts, very little could have been achieved. Large employers have halved the working hoursof their employees in order to accommodate greater number of people on the payroll. Many a place has gone for automation resulting in unemployment. This could in fact render millions of people unemployed. The economic scenario is really not very encouraging in the United States any more. Those who had migrated earlier and made their fortune are a different case, yet they have halved their spending. With less spending there will be fewer jobs opportunities.
