Dolphin dies in Bhairab river
A gangetic dolphin died in the Bhairab River in Sadar upazila of the district yesterday.
Fisherman Hamij Uddin said the dolphin was caught in his net in the morning. It was found dead, he added.
The dolphin was six feet long and 125 kg in weight. The fishermen recovered the dolphin and buried it in the afternoon.
