BNP's 32nd founding anniversary today

BNP celebrates its 32nd founding anniversary today. On this very day in 1978, late president Ziaur Rahman founded the party. The party has chalked out programmes to mark the occasion. The programme includes hoisting party flags at BNP central office and all the party offices across the country, placing wreaths of Ziaur Rahman's grave. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is now in Saudi Arabia, in a statement yesterday congratulated countrymen, party leaders, workers and activists and well-wishers on the occasion.
