Doctor hurt in bomb attack

A rural medical practitioner was seriously injured as criminals blasted bombs at Goshnagar Bazar under the Sadar upazila on Wednesday night. The victim is identified as Younus Ali, 40, of Goshnagar village in the Sadar upazila. Earlier on December 9, Anwar Hossain, 32, of Dhopabila village under Jhenidah Sadar, was killed as criminals bombed and shot him at Shishutala near the village, police said. Anwar, was once an activist of Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP), joined BNP.
