Zakat to eliminate poverty
One of the five pillars of Islam is Zakat. This is a compulsory duty of each rich Muslim fixed by Almighty Allah and if a rich Muslim ignores it, he or she will not be considered a good Muslim.
This instruction was imposed to eliminate poverty from society.
