The news of fire, which broke out at a chemical factory in Dhaka's South Jatrabari on October 6, 2010, in which seven workers were burnt alive and four others were critically injured, has shocked us deeply. It is so unfortunate losing life in such a horrible way. Nimtoli incident is still raw in people's minds, after that we learned about a few more fires at different chemical factories. It cannot go on like this; the government must put all its efforts to stop this sort of incidents happening again, and the owners of these factories must ensure all safety measures.
