Reception to freedom fighters

A reception was accorded to the freedom fighters here yesterday. Khagrachhari Hill District Council (KHDC) accorded the reception at its conference hall here. (KHDC) chairman Monindra Lal Tripura was present as chief guest. In his address, he said efforts are underway for settlement of 650 families of freedom fighters in the hill district to improve their socio-economic condition within three years. Among others, freedom fighters Mongsathowai Chowdhury, Ronovikrom Tripura and Dost Muhammad Chowdhury Mansur Ahmed addressed.
