Schools asked to repay excess fees taken from SSC examinees
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Sylhet yesterday issued an order to all the headmasters of secondary schools to repay excess amount of money they realised from the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinees.
The Board secretary asked the headmasters to repay the amount by December 31.
A Board official said, the order was issued following widespread allegations against the school authorities who realised excess amount of money from the examinees in name of session fee, tuition fee, coaching fee, development fee and management fee.
The school authorities were asked to inform the board authorities about repayment of the money, the official added.
