Relief goods recovered in Barguna
Navy personnel recovered huge quantity of relief materials from the house of a night guard of Barguna Sadar upazila nirbahi offices, police said.
The team led by Commander MA Khurshid conducted raid at the house of night guard Abdur Rob in the district town on Saturday. They recovered relief materials worth about Tk one lakh from the house. The materials included saree, lungi, shirt, blanket and soybean oil.
However, Abdur Rob fled the scene, but one of his aides, Nayeem was arrested.
Sadar Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Ranajit Sarker filed a case accusing four persons with Barguna police station.
