Trawler sinks with relief goods
A relief materials-loaded trawler sank in the Bhadra river in Dakop upazila on Monday.
The relief goods included six tonnes of rice, 80 new blankets, 40 lungis and 50 sarees, donated by Ramkrishna Asram of Dhaka for Sidr victims in Sharankhola.
The caretaker of the Ramkrishna Asram filed a general diary in this connection with Dakop police station in the evening.
The sunken trawler could not be salvaged till 6pm yesterday, the officer-in-charge (OC) of the police station said.
