This govt to finish war crimes trial
Law Minister Shafique Ahmed yesterday said the trial of war criminals will be finished off within the tenure of this government.
"We are trying the war crimes trial lives up to the international standards and none can raise any question about it," he told reporters after attending a discussion at Cirdap auditorium in the city.
Many countries are observing the process of the trial and the government is very aware of these issues, he said.
On raiding the house of BNP leader Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury on Tuesday evening, he said, "The law will take its own course of action."
