BCL cadres assault traffic police in Ctg
A traffic police sergeant was assaulted by a group of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) cadres as he sought documents from a motorcycle rider here at Khulshi area yesterday.
Sub Inspector (SI) Md Helal of Khulshi Police Station said Sergeant Mashiur Rahman, while on duty at Omar Gani MES College gate, was assaulted by several BCL cadres as he stopped a motorcycle for traffic law violation around 11:00am.
The attackers left the spot when a team of Khulshi Police station arrived there, said the SI.
Mashiur filed a case with Khulshi Police Station in this connection.
