RU teacher gets death threat
Rajshahi University Teachers Association (Ruta) Secretary Prof Ananda Kumar Saha on Thursday night received a letter with some materials used in cremating people of the Hindu community.
Prof Ananda filed a general diary with Motihar Police Station yesterday seeking police protection.
In the GD, he stated that he found a letter outside the gate of his residence with a candle, some camphor and pieces of Sandalwood.
He also stated that followers of anti-liberation forces might have sent the letter.
Officer-in-Charge Abul Khair of Motihar Police Station confirmed the incident and said police is investigating the matter.
