SQ Chy shown arrested
A Chittagong court yesterday afternoon ordered to show detained BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury arrested in a sedition case.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Ibrahim passed the order after a prayer by the investigation officer of the case Inspector Altaf Hosssain of Fatikchhari Police Station.
The court also ordered to produce Salauddin Quader before it on January 19, said Public Prosecutor Abul Hashem.
Md Mafiz Uddin, officer-in-charge of Fatikchhari PS, lodged the case with the same station on December 21 against the BNP leader for his offensive remarks against the country on November 20, 2009 at a meeting in Fatikchhari town.
