Tk 20 lakh demanded as ransom

Kidnappers of two brothers in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga demanded a ransom of Tk 20 lakh yesterday, a day after the abduction. The criminals picked up Serajul Islam Liton, 38, and Majidul Islam, 35, of the village Jehala in Alamdanga on Wednesday night. On Thursday night, the gang demanded the ransom over phone and threatened to kill the two if their families go to police.
