Paintings now of int'l standard
Bangladeshi artists are now creating paintings of international standard, speakers told a book launching ceremony yesterday.
They also felt that there are enough brilliant artists in the country who are not given proper recognition.
Two books named “Vinchi, Piccaso, Hussain Sultan o Onnano” and “Shilper Ghor Bosoti” authored by Rafiur Rabbi were unveiled on Liberation War Museum premises.
Justice Habibur Rahman, former chief adviser to a caretaker government, praised the author. He said, “I hope it will help readers know more about the great artists.”
