Police still clueless
Police is yet to find any clue to the murders of the young lady and her housemaid, whose decomposed bodies were recovered from the house, 'Parijat,' at the city's Khoradipara on Monday night.
The victims are Shaheda Akhtar Mili, 28, and housemaid Momota Begum Honufa, 15.
Contacted, Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) Rezaul Karim, who visited the house earlier told The Daily Star yesterday that they already started investigation though any case is yet to be filed in this connection.
Meanwhile, a human chain was formed in front of the Central Shahid Minar in the city yesterday afternoon demanding immediate arrest of the killers.
