Six arrested, weapons seized
Police arrested six persons and seized weapons from them at Fishari Ghat of Kotwali area in Chittagong city on Monday night.
The arrestees are Md Hasan, 30, Md Asraful Haque, 31, Md Azam Ali, 27, SM Nazim Uddin, 31, Abul Hossain, 28, and Md Jamal Uddin, 38.
A pistol, three rounds of bullet, and two knives were recovered from the six people who were among a 12-member gang that was preparing for a robbery in the area that night.
