Three killed in road crashes
Three people were killed and another one injured in road accidents in Lalmonirhat and Thakurgaon yesterday and Tuesday.
Our Lalmonirhat correspondent reports: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a bus at Barobari of Lalmonirhat sadar upazila yesterday.
Saiful Islam Billal, 68, of Keuti village of Kawnia upazila died on the spot.
Another motorcycle rider was killed after an auto-rickshaw knocked him down at Boarderhat of Hatibanda upazila in the district yesterday.
Emran Ali, 23, son of Asadul Islam of Bonchowki village in the upazila died on the way to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
Our Thakurgaon correspondent says: A motorcyclist was killed and another one injured when the vehicle crashed into an electric pole at Mathurapur village of the sadar upazila on Tuesday.
Dead is Shariful Islam, 25, son of Sirazul Islam of the village. The injured was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
