Nurses association formed
Nurses Association of Bangladesh (Nab), a body to protect the interest of nurses, was formed on Friday following an emergency meeting presided over the former president of Bangladesh Diploma Nurses Association Khadija Begum.
The meeting was held at the city's Topkhana Road, says a press release.
The 79-member central executive committee was formed with Bilkis Jahan Chowdhury as president, Khadija Begum as secretary general, and Muhammad Nazrul Islam as treasurer.
