HC summons BSCIC chair
The High Court yesterday summoned chairman and secretary of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) to appear before it on April 24 in connection with a contempt of court petition filed against them.
The HC bench of Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam and Justice SM Emdadul Hoque passed the order following the contempt of court petition filed against BSCIC Chairman Fakhrul Islam.
The contempt of court petition was filed against Fakhrul and Bhuban for not complying with HC directive.
The HC in a verdict that on August 12 last year directed them to give time scale to seven audit officials of BSCIC.
