Display house rent chart in every city: CPB
Leaders of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) yesterday demanded setting up of house rent chart in every city to ensure effective implementation of the House Rent Control Act.
The demand came at a CPB meeting held at the Muktangon in the city, says a press release.
The fixed house rent chart by the city corporation is never followed, said the leaders, adding that the chart should be put on display for public viewing.
Party leaders Ashraf Hossain, Ruhin Hossain Prince and Ahsan Habib spoke at the meeting.
Later, they put forward a memorandum with their demands to the Dhaka City Corporation Mayor.
