War crimes trial soon: Muhith
Trial of war criminals will surely be held in the soil of Bangladesh soon, said Finance Minister AMA Muhith.
“We have rooted out the fundamentalists from this land,” the minister said.
“We will now uproot the war criminals,” he added.
The minister was speaking at a division level rally of the freedom fighters at the government Alia Madrasah maidan in the city yesterday.
President of Central Command Council of Muktijoddha Sangsad Maj Gen (retd) Helal Morshed chaired the rally while Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran, Lawmaker Imran Ahmed, Shahjalal University VC Prof Md Saleh Uddin spoke at the programme.
