National Science Olympiad 2011 held in Rajshahi
National Science Olympiad 2011 for the Rajshahi region was held at Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday.
Pabna Engineering and Technology University Vice Chancellor Prof Muzaffar Hossain inaugurated the event, organised by RU computer science and engineering department in association with Bangladesh Science Academy.
A total of 400 students from class V to class XI of different primary and secondary level schools participated in eight groups in the written competition of multiple-choice question system.
Six students from school level and four students from college level were awarded for their brilliant performance. A total of 31 students have to qualify to compete in the final round in Dhaka.
