Reuse of water stressed
Speakers at a programme yesterday stressed the need for ensuring reuse of water to mitigate water crisis in the country.
They were speaking at a rally, jointly organised by Nirapad Development Foundation, WBB Trust and Campaign for Development Foundation in front of Fine Arts Institute of Dhaka University (DU) in the city.
The speakers said water crisis is increasing day by day because of water pollution, grabbing water sources, dumping waste materials and so on.
These problems should be solved as early as possible to ensure proper utilisation of water, they added.
They suggested for new Building Construction Rule and preserve rainwater to meet the demand.
