Textile University's activities start today
The first-ever Textile University of the country is set to start its journey today to create local efficient human resources for the industry.
The College of Textile Technology has been upgraded to a full-fledged university after the government realised that there is an acute dearth of manpower in this sector which forced the industry to hire human resources from other countries.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will formally inaugurate the academic activities of the university named Bangladesh University of Textile at Tejgaon in the city today.
