'Show honour to Prof Yunus'
Some well wishers of Prof Yunus yesterday called upon the people not to be confused with propaganda publicised by a group against the noble laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus.
They made the call at a press conference in the Chittagong Press Club auditorium organised by well wishers of noble laureate Yunus - Chittagong, a forum formed recently in Chittagong.
Forum convener Sikander Khan, vice-chancellor of East Delta University, read out a written statement urging the government for showing honour.
Journalist Abul Momen, Advocate Salehuddin Haider Siddique, president of Chittagong Bar Assciation, Prof Mahfuzul Hoque Chowdhury of Chittagong University, Faruk-E-Azam, Bir protik, Dr AQM Wahidul Alam and Dr Mainul Islam Mahmud were present at the press conference.
