Minor boy drowns
A four-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Badghata village in Shyamnagar upazila yesterday.
The victim was identified as Abu Hubayda, son of Prof Zulfiqar Al Mehedi Liton, a college teacher of the village.
Police said Hubayda slipped into the pond while he was playing by the side of it and drowned about 9:00am. Locals found the body floating in the pond and recovered the body.
