Plot on to make judiciary ineffective
Says Dr Kamal
Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain yesterday said a conspiracy is being planned to make the country's judiciary ineffective.
As law and order is worsening every day and small investors are being robbed by syndicates in the stock market, the general people need to walk forward united, he said.
Dr Kamal was addressing a meeting of Gono Forum central committee at its head office in the city yesterday, says a press release.
Jahirul Islam, Ranesh Maitra, Abdus Shaheed Lal, and AHM Khalequzzaman, among others, also spoke at the meeting.
