Fire in CU forestry
A fire broke out in the forest of Kata Pahar on Chittagong University campus yesterday.
The fire broke out around 4:00pm, said assistant proctor of the university Shipak Krishna Devnath.
He said they had no idea about the source or reason of the fire.
Fire fighters from Hathazari Fire Service and Civil Defiance with CU authority, however, extinguished the fire.
The extent of damage could not be known immediately.
