Foundation stone of UAP city campus laid

The foundation stone laying ceremony of the University of Asia Pacific was held with unveiling of the plaque by President Zillur Rahman at 74/1, Green Road in the city on Sunday. The president in his speech has praised the achievement of the university so far made in the academic field and other extra curricular activities. He has also given some motivational talks which will inspire the university authorities to achieve the desired goal in the future, says a press release. The Chairperson, Board of Trustees, Engineer M Abu Taher and Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr Abdul Matin Patwari spoke on the occasion. Former education minister Dr Osman Faruque, the chairman of UGC, the vice chancellors of different universities, the members of the Board of Trustees, members of the Syndicate and the Academic Council, were present on the auspicious occasion.
