Independence festival begins
A three-day long “Independence Festival and Book Fair” kicked-off at DC Hill premises in Chittagong yesterday, inaugurated by eminent artist and writer Qayyum Chowdhury.
Eminent poet and writer of Indian subcontinent Sunil Ganguly was present as the chief guest and was accorded a reception.
Poet and journalist Abul Momen was present as the special guest while noted social scientist and Premier University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anupam Sen presided over the ceremony.
